Abi was big, her time was coming, she knew. It was just about a month since they discovered she was pregnant with Dean's child. It had been extremely hard, telling the girls she was to busy to go to Montana-that she couldn't get away from anything. The good thing was, her brother had already moved to Montana with his pregnant newly wed wife.He had always been protective of her. It was hard, trying to tell the world that she was something that she was not. It was going to be even harder to tell her family that her and Dean's child was just Dean's-that she had adopted them.Abi had told the family she was off on a trip abroad. They didn't like the idea but thought it better then telling them the truth behind her disappearance from the world.
Abi lay, curled up for a nap on her and Dean's bed. It was be mere days that she would be a vampire. Mere days before she would go through the transformation to become immortal, and forever with her love. Forever with her child and they would never lose one another-not if she had anything to say about it.She wouldn't let her family slip away.
Abi had been falling in and out of a weak sleep when she felt a rib cracking kick that caused her to let out a painful wail. Her ribs were still healing from the last painful blow. Lately, Abi had started to talk to her baby, more and more and that seemed to calm him or her, but this was different. This was more painful. Abi sat up and doubled over, clutching her stomach.

Dean was sitting downstairs, letting Gabriella get her sleep and talking with Jason and Monica. They were talking about her change because they all knew that it was just around the corner. It had been right about a month since she first learned she was pregnant and they knew that baby would be wanting to come out anytime now. It made Dean nervous, but also very happy.
He had no idea where Evelyn was, but as long as she was leaving Gabriella alone, he didn't care. She had been horrible lately, still trying to break the two of them apart. Even more so now that it was getting closer to the time that the baby would be born and Dean would be changing her.
Just when he was about to say something else to Monica, he heard a scream and knew right away that it was Gabriella. He rose from his seat and was up the stairs before a human could blink. He threw the door open and was at the side of the girl he loved. "Gabriella? Honey, what's wrong," he asked her, panicked and concerned.

Abi rocked back for a moment and let out another cry when she was kicked hard in her already broken rib. She felt the hot tears going down her face as she gasped and clutched her stomach tighter. She knew this was different. This was something that was different then ever before. Could this be it? Could it be the time she had her baby. Abi barely heard Dean but looked at him as a pain shot through her and she let out another high pitched, pained cry, staring into his eyes with her bright green, tear blurred vision.
"D-D-eeeaannnn!''She hissed in pain and let out another high pitched wail as she fell back on the bed, flat, her body pulsating in the twitched coming from her stomach. She was passed out, nothing but dark surrounding her.
Eve had been around the forest. Her plan had back fired and her father and the fat human were closer then ever. Dean wasn't looking at hr the same either and the other vampires were watching her in an odd way. They couldnt be onto her-she was too good.
With a circling run, Eve made it near the house hearing the screams of the human and feeling sudden excitment course through her veins. Was it time? Woudl she be dead soon? Eve hurried up the stairs to the room that was already filled with her father, and his helpers. The other three must have just fot there, for they were looking confused at the seen. Gabriella was twitching in bed. She was indeed having her bastard."Oh-she isn't dead yet, is she?''Eve asked casaully, not meaning the words to slip from her lips.

Dean had called the others up when he realized that it was time and Gabriella started to lose consciousness. He and Jason had been about to begin with getting things underway when Evelyn decided to show up. Her words caused a growl from Dean and he turned on her. "Get the hell out of my house! I don't want you here until this is over," he commanded and had Jason take her out of the room. He was back sooner than Dean knew it, ready to begin.
The three of them, Dean, Jason, and Monica readied themselves for the birth and change. They had barely finished getting ready when the child began to break through Gabriella's stomach. Dean was right there with scissors to get the baby out and hand the child off to Monica who was to clean it up and make sure that it was okay while he and Jason tended to Gabriella.
As soon as the baby was out of her stomach, Jason injected a syringe full of Dean's venom into Gabriella's arm, as if she were a heroin addict, shooting it straight into her blood steam. At the same time, Dean let his teeth sink into a spot on her skin directly above her heart. He knew that it was going to happen, but he wasn't ready for the blood to began a pool in his mouth the way it did.
He had told everyone that he didn't want them to make him stop if he drank from her. He wanted to be able to stop on his own and if he couldn't, he knew that it wasn't meant to be. He had faith in himself. He did drink from her though. He couldn't help it. Her blood was the sweetest thing he had ever tasted and he didn't want to stop. But, as he drank from her, images flashed through his mind. The first time he and Gabriella ever met. The first time she smiled at him. The first time they ever kissed, or slept together. Her expression when she found out she was pregnant. Every good thing that they'd ever been through clouded his mind and it made him pull away. He wanted more memories and moments like that with her. He wanted a family.
When he pulled away, he was worried. Had he gone too far? Had he drank too much? He didn't know, but he spit the mouth full of blood that he had onto the floor. He felt horrible for that. He should have had better control, but he didn't. He was still too young. He looked at Jason and Monica, who were giving him hopeful looks. He then looked back at Gabriella and waited. It seemed like eternity that he sat there, immobile and still as a statue, before she began to cry out in pain.
With that, a sigh of relief came from Dean. He knew that anyone else would think it weird that he was relieved to hear his love in pain, but that meant that the change was happening. It meant that he hadn't screwed up and she would be like him in a few days, immortal.
When it was all said and done, Monica handed him a blanket with a fragile child wrapped inside. He peered into it just as she told him that it was a girl and a beam spread over his face. He watched the child closely and waited for her to open her eyes. When she did, he saw that her eyes were a crystal blue color, a color that he knew ran on Gabriella's side of the family. "Welcome to the world, Cassidy Aislinn Vlcek," he said softly, using the name that he and Gabriella had picked for if they had a daughter.
He held the child for a while longer before handing her back to Monica to care for. He needed her and Jason to take care of the baby and keep her safe as he tended to Gabriella and trained her to make sure that she would be able to handle being around their half human child before he let them meet each other.
But for now.. he was waiting for the days of her change to pass so that he could see her again.

Fire, fire was what Abi could feel course through her system. It was the most painful thing she had ever experienced and time seemed to slip into undetectable nothingness. Was it days? Hours? Years since she had feel the pain of her child breaking free of her.Was he child alive? She couldn't remember. She hadn't of see her him or her. She couldn't have. She would have remembered it. But she couldn't see the face. She could hear voices, and felt the searing pain, but couldn't make anything out. There had to be something. So, she focused off of the pain, moving and withering in pain didn't help.she tried to stay still and think about her child. She focused on what was happening in her and Dean's house, and tried to imagine what her baby looked like. What was Dean doing? Was he okay? Was she alive? She had to be alive, she was changing.
Soon, and Gabriella wasn't sure how soon. But, eventually, She stared to hear again. The pain started to tingle out of her. Areas didn't hurt as much anymore. She was started to awaken. She would awaken as something she would always be. Forever. She would be just as strong as the man she loved now-just as strong as those that wanted to threaten her family. She would now, finally be able to protect them. She would be an asset, not a hindrance. She had made it. She was a vampire.Abi could hear soft voices down stairs, and then-it happened. She saw her child. It came to her, almost as if she weren't lying on something in pain. Her daughter. She had a daughter."Cassie''She murmured, breaking through her ears and her vision she heard the words sing to her. She had spoke the word. But, it wasn't her voice. It was musical-it was beautiful. The little girl had her father's eyes. Ice blue and absolutely gorgeous. But, how did she know? How could she have a daughter and see her so clearly? She was a vampire-how could she be dreaming? In the dream, she was holding her daughter in her arms, and was speechless. She was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.
As quickly as the vision came to her, it was over and Abi twitched. But, it was a faster movement then she was used to. the pain was gone? It was over. Slowly, Abi opened her new eyes and looked at the ceiling of her room. The pain was crackling in areas. Just as slowly, but faster then human speed, she turned her head to the wall facing them, and sucked in a breath. A breath she didn't need. It whistled lightly through her chest and she blinked a few times."Dean-Dean!''She said quickly and almost panicked, Sitting up and moving her hand quickly to her throat. That voice, the one from the dream. It came from her.

Dean had been sitting at Gabriella's side for the past three days. It was hard for him, to sit there and hear her scream in pain, but he wanted to be there when she woke up. He didn't want to miss anything and he wanted to make sure that she was taken care of right away. The moment she opened her newly crimson eyes, he wanted to see her.
Finally, her three days was up. He knew that she'd awaken any minute and he waited anxiously. Then, it happened. She began to move and stir and soon, her eyes opened and she sat up, calling his name. Her voice was melodic and sweeter than it had been as a human.
"Right here," he said from the seat next to her. He couldn't see her fully as he was sitting off to the side from her, but he got up so that he was in her line of sight and he turned to look at her. He knew that she would change, but he hadn't expected what he saw. She was beautiful, much more than she had been as a human, though she had been beautiful then too.
Her skin was a pale white color like his and the planes of her face were more defined. Her lips were a bit plusher and her curves were accentuated more. In his mind, she looked perfectly amazing, and just the sight of her made his theatrical breathing stop. He let his golden eyes bore into her crimson ones as he stood there in front of her and waited for her to say or do something else.

Abi's eyes shot around the room, at a speed she new was much quicker then the one she had before her change. Things were happening all so far. Gabriella was taking in a million different things and her new eyes didn't know where to start or stay. And the, she saw him. The man she loved, the one that kept her from death and gave her a beautiful baby girl, was standing right in front of her.Never, had she seen him so clearly. He was far more amazing then Abi had ever seen him. Her eyes scanned him slower then anything else, taking in every inch of him with an expression of wonderment and awe. That was her boyfriend. After the silent moment's ticked on, Abi's eyes met Dean's and they locked there, her expression and body completely still. Her mouth was gapped open slightly in her wonder.
"Your beautiful.''Her voice , her new singingly wonderful voice sand in a whisper unheard to human ears, her eyes still on him for the longest time. Slowly, out of fear, and her eyes still locked with Dean, Abi stood-trying to be cautious of her steps and be slow. New vampires were hostile, she had to be careful. She didn't want anyone to have a reason to attack her. This was the man she loved. He said she would be stronger then him for a while, should could not and would not hurt him.
With a breath, his sweet scent caught her nose and she close her eyes momentarily, holding her stoned statue's stance right next to the bed.He smelled amazing. He was always beautiful. He was always smelled wonderful, but now-it was simple alluring and so much better. He was hers and she could finally have him fully.
The, her expression changed, excitement and peace, different from from this new excitement she had felt by just staring at him."Dean.....our daughter. Where's Cassie?''She asked, worried about the tiny cuddle being in the house with her and quickly shot her glance back to him"We-you did it.''She said, her expression peaceful and no longer panicked."She's beautiful.We.....I have a daughter.''''[/b]She sang to him, looking at him in admiration and fondness and love. But the last comment was in more wonder then the other's pushed out in a breath of joy that Abi couldn't believe. She didn't know how, but she knew that what she saw in her dream was real. Dean had done it. He had delivered their child, and that child was a girl.
Her eyes hit his again, and she tried to slowly move her hand out, holding it dangling in the air for him to try to touch her, instead of the other way around, but out of her new vision, she saw a glimpse of her new hand. Her eyes widened and she looked down at that. How could she not have looked at her new body? Well, that was simple-Dean and Cassie was far more important. Her eyes slowly glanced to her hand, but there was time for that later. Dean, was far more important. Her eyes moved back to him cautiously as she watched his every move. Would he take it? Or was she wrong?[/color]

Dean watched Gabriella cautiously, wondering how she would be. He knew that every newborn was different and so was every person, but Gabriella had a pure heart. He wasn't afraid of her being out of control or hurting anyone. He had faith that she would be okay and that she wouldn't lust to kill or harm anything as some newborns did when they were first created.
He was surprised that she knew about Cassidy. She had been passed out during all that. Had she been able to hear it all? He was very curious about that, but didn't ask yet. So, he just nodded and agreed. "Yes, we do, and she's very beautiful. Just like her mother," he mused with a bright smile on his features.
He stepped closer to her and took her hand when she held it out to him. He let his fingers lace through hers and his other hand moved to her waist. He knew that it might not be smart, because of her newborn strength, but he still believed that she would be okay and could control herself. She had no reason to harm him. Not that he knew of anyway.
He wanted to hug her fully, but didn't want to push her right away. He figured he'd let that come in her own terms and that he'd let things go slow until she got more used to herself being like this.

Abi's eyes tried to stay on Dean's. First thing was first. She had to get okay with him. She had to take in every inch of him and make sure they were comfortable first. After that, she would move onto what she looked like, and what being a vampire was like other then being with him.Her breathing that she once needed would have been taken at the site of him. He was so gorgeous and now he was all hers. Hers to be with for eternity.
Abi waited and tried to analyze Dean's expression. There was so much her new eyes could take in that her human ones could never have. She could catch onto things quicker with her mind. Dean was surprised that she knew about Cassie. But, she did, and his words brought a huge smile to his face. Gabriella reflected his with a bright, beaming new smile of her own. Was pleased at his comment but shook her head after a moment."No,she's far more beautiful then anything.''She said fondly, feeling the urge to move her hand to her stomach that no longer held her baby, out of habit-but she resisted.
Gabriella stood perfectly still when Dean moved to her, slipping around her and it was then, in that very moment that her entire exsistance was confirmed. He felt different. Amazing, and silky and it was in that same moment that any fear or doubt she could have had, drifted away.Slowly, Abi moved her eyes to his hand and hers, laced together and the soft smile spread across her features. He felt amazing, better then ever, slowly, she moved tighter into his arms, careful to be careful and her eyes met his again."It's better then I could have ever dreamed.''Her new voice sang melodiously."Can I-it's safe to kiss you, right?''She asked, not sure if she could or would hurt him. Or if he was alright with her change. It was then another thought came to mind. Did he like the way she looked? Her new body?

When Gabriella said that their daughter, Cassidy, was more beautiful than anything else, he opened his mouth to disagree again, but changed his mind. He was pretty sure that her stubbornness was something that her immortality wouldn't take away so he just gave her another smile and a slight nod of agreement.
He was glad when she moved more into his arms and he let his hold on her tighten with a sigh. He could feel her now, completely. It was great. Her touch didn't feel so light and gossamer anymore, but was stone, just like his. It made it all better, the only thing he really missed was the sound of her heartbeat and the amazingly sweet scent of her blood.
When she asked if it was okay for them to kiss, he almost chuckled. He knew that she was completely serious in her question though. He had explained to her about her strength and could only guess that she didn't want to hurt him. That made him smile brighter and instead of answering her with words, he just leaned forward and let his lips collide with hers. He was amazed, to say the least, in how different it felt to kiss her. He knew it would change with her immortality, but he never expected it to be so good.

Gabriella took a deep breath in as Dean held her tighter to him. Everything about this was so much better then Abi could have ever imagined. She imagined, a human on human contact when she was human and trying to imagine what it would be like to really be with Dean. This was far better then any human experience she had ever had. Dean was better. His skin felt amazing and his touch was warm, normal, no longer icey and freezing like before.
Her eyes locked with his until Dean smiled at her question , as if he wanted to laugh. Abi frowned lightly at that and wanted to know the amusement behind the question. What was so wrong with her not wanting to hurt the man she loved? The man that saved her and her daughter's life. But, then, his lips were on hers. And the kiss was sending Abi spinning into a world she never knew could taste so sweet and amazing. She pushed into the kiss lightly, not wanting to let it go, bringing a hand up to feel the softness of his cheek, but each time, moving as slow as she thought she could, thinking of every movement.
Abi pulled back, and smiled at him.She wanted to kiss him more but had so much on her mind."Oh, Dean, I love you so much!''she said, dropping her hand and kissing his lips lightly again. Then, she looked down again to herself. There was no longer a big belly keeping them apart and Abi gaped, looking back up at Dean."Do, I-Well, do I look okay?''She asked embaressed, not sure how to start.

Dean's mind raced with thoughts as they kissed. She was finally a vampire and indestructible. He no longer had to be so careful with her. He didn't have to be afraid of breaking her or hurting her with a wrong move. He could feel her completely now. He didn't have to be afraid of losing her to old age and death. He had her, and their daughter, forever. He could only think of one thing that would make him happier, but that would come in time. Hopefully.
When she pulled her lips away from his, he frowned slightly. He had been enjoying them greatly. He was going to say something in response when she kissed him again. He kissed her back quickly before she pulled away again and he brushed hair from her face. "I love you too, more than anything," he agreed with her.
He chuckled slightly when she asked if she looked okay. "Why do you care what other people think, Gabriella? Just be yourself," he told her. He planted a very quick peck on her lips before his lips moved to her ear to whisper softly there, though he knew she would be able to hear him no matter what. "You look amazing."

Dean's kiss still danced on Gabriella's tongue, and sang to her senses. She couldn't believe the change. She was the enemy of so many now. But forever and ever, she would have her family. It was sad, and hard to let go of her family. To tell her family she was off on a once in a life time opportunity to travel the world for a few years, furthering her nursing career and didn't know when she would get back. They were happy for her, and didn't want her to be alone. They knew that Dean was with her and they had to let her go. When things were better, she would tell them about Dean's daughter.
His words, that he loved her more then anything caused that new beam to shine back at Dean again. Abi shifted in his arms again, a little too quickly and shocked herself at her strength and speed and looked up at him quickly and cautiously. She didn't touch him, but she had been worried that she had hurt him. She didn't want to hurt him, or cause him any pain. She smiled half heartedly after a moment. She wanted to say she loved him again, but thought of his next comment.
"I don't care what anyone thinks of me, but you and Cassie.''she said confidently, cuddling slowly into his chest and gazing up at him."I wanted my new body to be something that you liked.''She said teasingly, and gave a soft sigh."My eyes are red, aren't they?''She asked softly, too soft for his human ears. How could she look okay if she had red eyes."Do I have to hunt now?''she asked just as softly

Dean held her even tighter as Gabriella cuddled more into his arms. He loved her being there. It was were she belonged, where she fit. He placed a kiss on the crown of her head and took in her new scent. It was still very sweet and appealing, but not the same as her blood had been when she was human. He would rather have her forever then have her scent though.
He told her that he definitely liked her this way and nothing could change that. She was beautiful and she was his. No one else in the world could be as lucky as he was because no one else could have Gabriella Strang.
He nodded to her. "Yes, they are. But no, you don't have to hunt right now if you don't want to. I think it would be a good idea, but Cassie is out of the house and will be until you're okay. I rented her a house. Well, her, Jason, and Monica," he explained with a soft chuckle.
He had wanted to make sure that Gabriella would have whatever time she needed and that she wasn't rushed or overwhelmed by the smell of human blood. He planned on taking things at her pace and being at her side for every moment, except for when he left her for the short amount of time that he would take each day to go see his daughter and give everyone updates on how Gabriella was doing.

Abi gave a chuckle when Dean said he he was happy with the way she looked. She was stuck in this body forever. She wanted to look good. She wanted Dean forever, which meant that she would have to please him with the body she was given. She wanted to turn, and look at herself in the floor length mirror, but was too scared. What if he was just being nice. What if she looked ghastly and scary. Abi knew about the eyes. Monica had told her a lot that Dean had left out.
Abit frowned at Dean's words and was silent for a few moments, looking up at him but her expression lost in thought."Someone else is raising my baby.''She said softly."Its not like a normal baby. She's going to grow and Im going to miss it because of my blood lust?''Abi frowned. This change brought on every kind of emotion all at once.Abi glanced up at Dean, almost panicked and scared."What if......what if, we start off slow? We go hunting how. Then, another day we get closer to humans-hikers or something, but at a distance. The next we move to encountering them and see how i handle it, and then...then we could try Christopher. Surely if I cant handle him, I can handle the tiny bit of blood in my own daughter. I couldn't hurt her.''she said sadly, but knowingly and determined."Besides, i think......I think I will know if something bad is going to happen...I think........if I concentrate, I would be able to stop an attack before I knew I was getting close to it.''She said with another nod, her eyes focusing on him after a moment.
With another sigh, Abi kissed Dean again."I'm not going to let this hold me back from being with my baby."It's just a substance that isn't needed for survival. And I wont let myself do it.''She said, kissing his lips again because it calmed her and tasted wonderfully. It was then, that Abi looked down at herself and noticed the blood and everything she figured would cover her, was gone. "You changed me?''She asked, referring to her clothes and silently wondered how much of her pregnant body Jason had seen when helped Dean with the change. The thought would have made her blush if she were human/
