Her heart had been running away with her. Again. And now her mind was kicking in to scold them, to prove the impossibility of what they were suggesting. There was no way that they could leave that night, for the days were growing painfully short and they needed to talk it over with Renesmee, make plans with the rest of the Cullens. As much as she longed for it, the impossibility was obvious. She had never left Renesmee before, not in the whole four years that she had graced the Earth with her radiance. Bella knew that it was going to be hard, was going to toy with her feelings and leave her feeling homesick, but she was sure that Edward would comfort her, would cure her feelings. It would still hurt.
Sighing, Bella noticed how Edward had pulled away, had placed his hands into his pockets. The distance between them, although not large, hurt her. She missed the feel of his hands upon her hair, her skin, missed the jolt of electricity that it sent through her body. She had to re-ignite the spark that was slowly dying inside of her. She placed her pale hands on either side of his equally as pale face, leaning in to gently press her lips against his. She preferred to look at him face on, for the mirror only rid Edward of his dazzle. After a few moments she pulled away, sliding her arms down to rest on his stone chest.
"Tomorrow." There was clearly a hint of disappointment in her murmur, despite her best efforts at hiding it. "We need to tell Renesmee, talk to Rose." Bella knew that her daughter would spend a large amount of the time thy were away with Jacob, but Bella was going to make sure the Renesmee would spend some time with Rose as well. It was clear that Rosalie didn't get enough of the love that she wanted from her so called 'neice'.
She was too in love with him, impossibly. And she knew that she couldn't let go of him now, even if she had wanted to.
