Dean chuckled softly at Gabriella's words. "Honestly, so did I, but I'm glad that we were both wrong," he told her as he looked up and gave her a wide grin.
His lips met her neck again before he let his tongue and teeth meet it gently as well. He teased the soft skin for a few minutes before moving back to her lips and kissing them again.
He pulled her into his lap just so that he could hold her closer and let the kiss linger on. It seemed as if nothing had changed and as if he hadn't left for six weeks, but like they'd been together that time and this was usual for them.

At Dean's confession, Abi's brow furrowed. He had thought the same thing? She knew that she pretty much had lost him for good, but hearing the words from his lips only made the realization that much more painful and real. She went to say something. She didnt know exactly what to say but her mouth opened, only to be cut off by Dean's mouth meeting her neck again. eagerly as before, letting her passion build even more this time. Her arms wrapped around him at the precise moment that he pulled her into his lap. They fit together like a glove-all bad memories gone.
Abi pushed into the kiss, straddling Dean again and pulling back to sigh into his neck when she couldnt breath, and kiss his neck to his jaw.His cold skin sent a shiver up her spine. Her lips moved to his to brush lightly. Her eyes met his and she beamed."I have so much I want to say, but I have nothing to say-all at the same time.''She smiled, her fingers brushing to hair from his eyes."I don't know where to start.''

Dean chuckled softly at Gabriella when she spoke to him. She was too adorable and he couldn't help but love every part of her. He brushed her lips again to quiet her and then kissed her cheek.
"Well, for starters, you could explain all of this," he said and pulled the letter that she had written him out of his army coat. He had been in such a hurry to get back that he didn't even stop to change before he got to her house, just came in his uniform.
He understood the main part of the letter and knew the reason he had had to come back and that she loved him, but some of the other stuff confused him greatly, and he was an intelligent man.

Abi looked into his topaz eyes. Every time she looked at them, they were like liquid topaz pools she would get lost in. The held so many secrets. How could people hate all vampires? Sure, like many other parts of life-the bad ones tarnished a good reputation for all. But, the good ones like Dean. The ones that were simply amazing and were better then post humans at humanity and kindness. He was Abi's rescuer. Her guardian against more then he could ever imagine. How could she have held back from him for so long. How could she have held back to deep feelings like she did?No matter-she would make it up to him now.She would prove to Dean how truly deep everything went.
Abi listened closely and and then frowned again."Oh..do I have to?''She laughed a bit nervously."I was......desperate.....and it all leads to the same thing. That Im inlove with you. I want you...forever and I won't let you go.''She said quietly, determined to not drop her gaze from him.She felt sheepish. She was embareessed of how unsuccessful her letter to him was.

Dean noticed the little frown he was given so he brushed her lips again with his. He shook his head though. "No, you don't have to. I could tell enough to know that I needed to come back. That's all that matters," he told her honestly.
They were together again and he was happy. He loved the beautiful, sweet smelling human that sat in his arms, more than anything else. More than he had ever loved another person, even his wife. Gabriella was different in so many ways and her differences made her better.
"I'm going to love you forever, you know that, right? And if you'll give me forever, I'm gonna be right here that long too," he explained.

Abi felt bad, but she was too embareessed from her horrible letter. She wanted him back. She had been so urgent to prove she loved him-to tell him he was loved by her that she didn't read it over again after writing it.She simply stuck it into an envelope quickly, stamped it and sent it it out before something odd happened and preventing her from sending him the letter. Her frown and embareessed smile was taken away with the soft brush of Dean's cool lips. His scent , sweet smelling breath made her head spin and the letter no longer mattered.
I'm going to love you forever, you know that, right? And if you'll give me forever, I'm gonna be right here that long too,
The words took her breath away. They would stay, imprinted in her heart and she would never let them go. Her mind swirled more and more and she finally brought herself to speak. She nodded, her eyes shining into his."There is no forever without you.''She spoke softly, her lips hitting his again lightly."Will you stay with me....at least for the night, I mean.''She said questioning, opening her eyes and looking into his again.

Dean stared back into Gabriella's eyes as she held his gaze. When her eyes shone the way that they were at that moment, they reminded him of emeralds glistening in the sun or a bright light and he loved them. He always loved them, but they were best when they shone at him.
Her kiss was so soft and quick that he didn't even get the chance to return it, but he didn't really mind. There would be plenty of time for longer, better kisses later on.
He nodded to her question. "Yeah, anytime you want me to," he promised. He moved his arms around her waist and hugged her to him. He wanted to be closer to her and though she was straddling his lap, he felt like she wasn't close enough.

Anytime she wanted him to he would stay?Dean's words caused Abi's to beam back at him more. So, they were really going to be together. Before, it was good-but Abi held the hindrance of holding back her feelings. Now, it was better then ever because she held nothing back anymore. Why should she?She had nothing to lose.Nothing at all to lose but him. And Abi figured the only way she would lose Dean is if she continued to hold back.
When Dean's arms closed around her tighter, pulling her completely into his chest, Abi smiled hugging him back as tightly as she could in her pathetic human strength. He would feel it, but the thought was there.Abi breathed him in deeply, closing her eyes. What if he couldn't feel her at all? What if she was so weak she had never gotten through to him at all.Abi pulled her head back to look at Dean, a light frown turning the corners of her lips down.
"Can you feel me at all?''She asked curiously."Like, physically, can you?''She wanted to know. What if he could just sense her, and that's how he knew. And it was that sense that could let him imagine the touch?Abi had never thought about it before this time and felt rather dumb in asking. Her sheepish expression returned as she waited for his response

Dean just sit there with Gabriella the way they were, holding each other, until she pulled back to look at him and speak. Her question caught him off guard. He never expected her to really ask him something like that, so he thought for a moment, thinking of how to explain it.
"Yes and no. I can, but in some things, it's ghostlike. Like this," he said and reached down to lace his fingers with hers. "I can feel it, but it's so light that it's like gossamer. But the more physical things, like kisses and sex, I can feel more, but still not fully," he explained.
He played with her hand lightly and moved his fingertips over it slowly as he spoke, tracing patterns on the back of it. He didn't know why she wanted to know or if it meant anything different that he couldn't feel her completely, but he hoped that things would still be good.

Abi frowned lightly. It was like they were hindered. It wasn't fair. She could feel him. Everything about Dean was stronger then she had ever felt. And she was so weak she could bearly let her touch be known on the man she loved. His feelings were so intense, and no matter how hard Abi tried, she couldnt push her feelings to make him feel them anymore. She should have known, but it was just a surprise.
Her thoughts twisted, moving to what if they were the same. What if she were a vampire. Would their touch be different. Could he feel her then? Or did being a vampire simply not give you the ability to feel fully.
The small, interested frown stayed playing on her lips."Is it like that for all vampires....like-could you feel a vampire's touch more? Or.....is it you just cant feel fully?''She asked, echoing him her thoughts , and tucking into him, resting herself in his chest and putting her head in the crook of his neck, watching and listening for his answer.
As Abi's thoughts moved over what it would be like to be immortal. She wondered if that would make her and Dean equal, and give them both the ability to feel each other just as if they were humans. Her slowly moved over the back of there laced fingers, sending the goose bumps she grew to love.

Dean watched her closely and tried to gauge her reaction to all that. She was doing well at keeping hidden, but he could still see the frown on her lips. He brushed them quickly with his own, hoping to make it disappear.
He shook his head. "I don't know. You're the only person I've been with since I became a vampire and I tend to not be very affectionate towards people unless I really care about them. So, I couldn't tell you," he spoke honestly.
He cuddled down into her and rested his head on hers lightly before he moved so that he laid on the couch with Gabriella on his chest. He sighed and tucked her into his arms and chest more as he kissed her hair.

Abi left her eyes open, as she listened for his answer. It bothered her he couldn't feel her.She was already so pathetic compared to him. She wasn't anything special. She had already been pregnant and slept with to many guys for her age.She wasn't anything. She was mediocre and he was perfect. Now, he couldn't feel like. She was just nothing then, wasn't she? How could he love her if he couldn't even feel her?
Abi frowned again, her expression going blank. He hadn't been with anyone other then her since he became a vampire? This brought more to light and Abi thought deeper. She didn't know too much about Dean. As she settled into his chest, she frowned deeper and after a few silent moments, she flipped to her side and looked at Dean.
"How long have you been a vampire?''She asked curiously."I mean....I just realized....I don't know too much about your past....well, about you.''She said tilted her head in though.Sure, the topic never came up. But, now that they were together, they probably shouldn't have secrets.Dean didn't know too much about Abi's past. About her mistakes. They had spoke of her past with her family, but not the events that rocked her life since she came to Forks.

Dean just lay with her for a while and let himself get lost in his thoughts. He wasn't paying attention to anything but her voice brought him from his reverie. He looked down at her and gave her a soft smile.
"For 60 years," he told her. She had never really seemed interested in his past before so it never came up. They never talked about it, and he was curious as to why it came up now, but it didn't really matter. He had nothing to hide and his past wasn't bad, not like the few vampires' he'd met had.
His was simple compared to theirs. And not as heartbreaking. It had hurt him, but that was to be expected because it was his life. Being changed wasn't as bad as it could have been though because he'd already lost his wife and kids. If he would have had them to go back to, it would have been worse.

It bothered Abi that she knew nothing about her boyfriend. She knew absolutely nothing of his past and his life. What he had lost because of the change. She should know everything about him, right? Wasn't that part of being in a closed relationship? Being in love with Dean made her want to know everything about him. Maybe that would make them more connected.
60 years? He had been a vampire for 60 years and he had probably changed a lot since then. Grown a lot and done a lot. That was 60 years and 25 before she knew nothing about. Did that make her a bad girlfriend? That she didn't know anything. That she should and she didn't?
Abi smiled a little. The corners of her lips turning up slightly after he told her. But, he didn't go into anything else."I always knew I liked older men but......'She smirked and kissed his lips. The age didn't bother her. It meant nothing, but she smiled at that. She would have never guess her was 85 years old-since his birth.
"Tell me something. If it doesn't bother you-if it doesn't hurt, or anything.''She asked, resting on her head on her hand, propped up by her elbow and watching him curiously. She couldn't let it bother her. It wasn't like they had never spoke about anything before. The topic about Dean's past just never came up.

Dean chuckled when Gabriella made a comment about older men. He made a small face at her, but returned the brush that she gave his lips. "Yeah, well, at least I still have the body of a twenty-five year old," he joked. He may have been eight-five, but he still looked good.
He thought for a moment. "Tell you something, huh? Like what," he asked her curiously. But before she could answer, he spoke again. "Like.. that if I was human we'd share eye color? I 'died' in war. I'm the second oldest of four, but I lost my brother and mother when I was a boy," he stopped there.
That one hurt a bit, but he didn't have as much trouble talking about it as he did when he was a kid. He watched her again, looking to see if she had anything to say about the few things he had told her.
