Dean sat on the couch with Gabriella, waiting for his friends, Jason and Monica to get to his house. They were his friends who had just dealt with having the hybrid child a few years back. As far as he knew, they were bringing their son, Christopher as well. He was a bit nervous, but knew that it would help his pregnant girlfriend more.
He wanted her to understand and have all her questions answered. He didn't want her to be scared or wondering what was going to happen to her. He knew that it was going to be bad, but it was better that she knew, right? He wasn't so sure, but he was trying to convince himself that it was.
His arms were around her and he kissed her temple lightly. "Are you nervous," he asked her curiously. He knew he was, but he was trying to act calm about everything. He was just hoping that everything would be wonderful and in a month he'd have her a vampire and they'd have a beautiful child.
But before she could answer, there was a knock on the door. He looked over at her. "They're here," he told her flatly before kissing her cheek and then moving to answer the door. Though he was capable of speeds that of a cheetah or higher, he was walking slower than humans in his nervousness.

Abi's face was paler, after just a few days of her pregnancy, her little baby bump had doubled in size to her swollen belly. She was cold. Colder then usual. She was stressed more then usual too. She knew things were going to be hard, but this was surprising. Today,Dean's friends were coming and coming to stay with Dean and Abi until their lives were in swing again.Over the past few days since finding out , a lot had changed. Now, everything was pretty much packed for Abi to move in with Dean-no more little apartment by herself. No more working. She was now living with her boyfriend, and for more then the next month to come-two other vampires and their very own hybrid child.
Her belly was now a quarter of a basketball, making it harder for her hid it. She hadn't even had time to see her family and now, wouldn't. Not now, until after she was changed. The baby was kicking harder. Causing more pain and getting stronger. The stronger she/or he got, the weaker Abi felt. This was nothing like her pregnancy before.
Abi didn't let on her pain and tried not to show it in her face. She said there, nerves shot, waiting for them to arrive. Dean's body was chilling her slightly, with her already cold state, but she wanted him near to her. He helped her. He calmed her.In her long , thick dark blue hoodies-the ones she lived in now and her light jeans and thick socks, Abi was still chilly.Dean's lips and cold breath chilled her more, but she maintained her composure."I'm fine.''She said with a smile. Before the conversation could go further, they were there. Ready to meet her. Abi, always hated being the center of attention. Now, she was the star of the show.
Abi nodded . Her arms firmly across her belly, she watched the door. Luckily, Dean's back was turned when the baby kicked and Abi winced. She stood slowly, waiting for them to come in.

Dean was glad that he knew a little bit about what to expect with Gabriella's pregnancy because if he hadn't, he would have been scared more than he already was. He knew he shouldn't be scared, but he couldn't help it. She was all he had and he loved her so much. He didn't know what he'd do if he lost her. Especially if it was because she couldn't handle his child, because then it'd be his fault.
He finally reached the door and answered it to find his friends, and their child, standing in the doorway. He gave them all a nod and small smile before inviting them inside. He let them set their stuff down before he led them to where Gabriella stood.
He introduced everyone and then waited for his guests to be seated before too sat and pulled Gabriella to lightly sit with him. He grabbed an extra blanket from the couch as well so that he could drape it over her shoulders and she wouldn't be as cold as he held her in his arms.

Abi's eyes softened and her composure was better as she set eyes on the strangers, her boyfriends friends. She was grateful to him. For them to take out so much time to be with them. To help Abi and Dean through this.Abi was slightly nervous to hear the details. She knew that Dean would and was keeping things from her. She was trying to hid the fact she knew he was trying to be strong for her and their child. She was worried about him, more then her and hated that he seemed so distracted and short lately. She knew it was because of his fear for their situation. He wanted it done just as badly as she did.
She smiled sweetly, hoping and praying the baby didn't kick her yet.She didn't want to start out the meeting this way.She only sat after they did, wanting to ask if she could get them anything and cutting herself off before she spoke-knowing she couldn't do anything for a craving they could have.Dean ushered her to her seat and wrapped the blanket around her. She smiled fondly as him, lacing his fingers through hers and giving it a light squeeze her would probably never feel.
Her eyes quickly moved to her visitors. The young man that was the hybrid. Her child would be like him?He looked wonderfully put together. Perfect.A image of his parents. Abi smiled sweetly. She, Monica, looked perfect as well. Never would have known she had ever had a child-and was a beautiful vampire.Abi soon caught on that she was a vampire for the reason that Abi wasn't told. It was at the very moment Abi realized it was because they had no choice. She wouldn't have lived through her pregnancy, her son was too strong and it was change or death. The whole thing was very risky.
"Thank you all for coming......this is.....well. Im so thankful.''She said, trying to start off the conversation, her free hand moving to her kicking stomach again. She closed her eyes only momentarily, but opened them again, dropping her gaze to the carpet to control her face and kept from winced. It was over soon enough and Abi brought her attention back to the people around her.

Dean sat in silence, not knowing what to say. He was uncomfortbale, yet glad that his friends were willing to help him and Gabriella. Usually, he was lighthearted with these friends, but the circumstances had changed since the last time he saw them. He was stressed, scared, and nervous.
When Gabriella spoke, he looked over at her with a soft smile. Even when she was the center of attention and surely uncomfortable and about to know things she would likely fear, she was housewarming and so polite. It was one of the things that he loved about her. She was so wonderful and remembered things that he forgot about in his nervousness.
"Yes, thank you all for coming. I think you can help her to understand much more than I could since you have all been through it," he smiled softly. He watched them and noticed that Monica's eyes were becoming more and more of a golden color. He was glad that she'd been able to have the life of a vegetarian. It made him more comfortable about her being around Gabriella.
"You're welcome. We're happy to help," Jason answered them with a smile. "I know it's stressful and things will be hard, but just hang in there, and we're going to stay as long as you both need. I was lucky to have a friend that helped me as well, and I think that made it much easier on my part than it would have been."
Dean nodded. He had heard the story more than once and knew that he and Gabriella were in for a long and hard battle. He knew that if everything went smoothly, it would be worth it though. He would have his family, his daughter, and Gabriella. And when it was all over, and she could handle herself, he planned to propose to her. He wanted their eternity to start as soon as possible.

Gabriella looked between them all, trying to calm herself. Dean wasn't himself. He was quiet, and lost in his own thoughts and for the first time, Abi felt farther away from him then ever. She knew it was because of the pregnancy and that he was nervous. But, he was...different, and she understood. He was stressed and trying to hide it, just like she was.Abi could feel Dean's eyes on her and she turned to face him when his spoke and gave a nod in agreement with his words, her eyes flashing back to their guests.
Her attention was turned to Jason when he spoke back, Abi shifted in her spot, , putting herself closer to Dean. She was getting nauseous and his cool touch both calmed her and helped her system. She nodded to his kind words."Well, every little bit helps. I- obviously have no idea what's going on......and it's nice to see someone who made it through.''She said giving them a soft smile and wondering if she should start asking questions or if they were going to start in. That and she didn't want to upset her boyfriend with questions he wasn't ready to be answered yet.The whole keeping things from her aggravated her, but she wanted Dean to relax as well.

Dean nodded and smiled a bit at Jason when he spoke to Gabriella and she answered him with kind words. He tried to relax some more and let out a small sigh as he watched everyone, silence falling around them once more.
"Whenever you're ready, Gabriella," Monica pitched in. She already planned on speaking her with alone after their group conversation because she thought she had a good feeling on how she was feeling about it all because she had gone through it and had been human just years ago.
Dean smiled to Monica in thanks for trying to get Gabriella to start with whatever questions that she had. He was sure she had quite a few. Some of them, he probably couldn't answer and others, he didn't want to. He felt like they would be easier or better coming from someone else.
He moved his arms from her and placed them in his lap so that she could be more comfortable and not as cold because he could feel her temperature dropping as he sat with her. He sat back into the couch, trying to relax more and watched the boy, Christopher. He seemed like a normal kid.

Abi sat there, even under the blanket, the room's temperature had changed with the cool bodies being so close to her. She was getting colder, and could feel Dean's chill through her layers, but she wanted him near her and wouldn't dare move away from him. She didn't care how cold she got. She needed his touch.
Then, Monica opened up and spoke to her and Abi's eyes widened slightly. She was kind and that helped Abi's nerves slightly. Would Abi maintain her humanity? But, that question wasn't something that could be answered. Abi glanced down, thinking and gave a little laugh. Her voice was so scratchy compared to the sounds of the beautiful voice of the people in the room with her.'Oh.um...''Abi started after her laugh, beating her brain for something, anything to say.
Dean's arm moved from Abi, and that threw her off, She frowned at him. Letting him see the aggravation momentarily hit her lips. She didn't want him to back away.Abi relaxed, tried to anyway, and finally took a breath, getting her nerve to just state the thing no one would tell her, but the thing she knew was sure to come."Im going to have to drink blood....soon, huh?''She said softly her eyes flashing to Dean. Ever since he cut her off when she asked him, her mind had turned to find.It didn't bother her too much. It was where ti blood came from. From what it came from that bugged her. Would they kill people to get her some?
She glanced down, taking Dean's hand again stubbornly, the other rubbing her belly again. Her mind was racing. She didn't know what else to say. She had no idea what to expect, so she didn't know what to ask really.

Dean saw the look that Gabriella gave him and almost wrapped his arms back around her. He was a soft touch for her and she had him wrapped around her finger, but he didn't want to make her too cold. He knew that the temperature wasn't healthy for her and if it wasn't healthy for her, it wasn't healthy for the baby.
He watched her closely as she tried to think of what to ask them. When she finally uttered her question, his eyes set on her in a bit of an unhappy way. He didn't want her to really know about that, but she had already asked so it was too late now. She had asked and he knew that Monica would answer.
He sighed to himself and turned to Monica to see her nod in answer before speaking. "Yes, but it's not that bad. You'll get used to it and because of the baby, it'll actually taste good, well, decent. It won't be chocolate, but at least it'll stay down and help you to stay healthy and strong," she explained, recalling her own thoughts about it.
Dean nodded to himself and Gabriella slightly. He felt her take his hand and he squeezed hers lightly before placing his hand on her stomach over hers. "It'll be okay, honey," he whispered in her ear just loud enough for her to hear him.

Abi could feel Dean's feeling. Something told her that he didn't want her to know. She didn't know why and that slightly aggravated her.She needed to know. Why it bothered him and why he wanted to disclose that information from her. Anything helped. All the knowledge she could get would help. She already knew that preparation would be part to save her. She knew that one slip move when the baby go stronger could end her live. That maybe it wasn't possible to turn her. Why couldn't she know about drinking blood? It was only logical. She was getting weaker because the baby-part vampire- was taking up her blood source. It was weakening her and not meaning too. It would reject all nourishment other then the craving it desired.
Abi nodded in response. Just one nod. She knew . She had been right, but she needed to hear it. She needed to get it out of the way. The act wasn't the drinking of blood that bothered her. Abi opened her mouth to ask when Dean's hand covered hers. She smiled softly, her eyes meeting his as she squeezed his hand back, telling him she knew with just one look. She okay. She was only worried about him, and her baby.Monica and Jason's son was amazing.
Abi sighed and turned her attention back to them, her hold tighter on her boyfriends hands."Well.....were is the blood coming from?''She asked, sounding rather confident for her nervous state."I guess....I don't have too many other questions....other then that.I wondered about what happened when I went into labor, and just...I guess I want to know everything else I'm missing.''She ended less confident then she began, but she opened her mouth and had to get it all out.

Dean could feel Gabriella holding his hands tighter and he finally gave in and just let his arms encircle her again. He sighed and made himself more comfortable with her before lightly resting his head on her shoulder. He knew that she could tell her was scared and nervous so he wasn't going to bother hiding it really.
He listened to Monica's answer and Gabriella's next question. He closed his eyes and just focused on the voices as they filled the room, letting his sense of hearing take over to the point of hearing Gabriella, and their child's heartbeats as he rested there.
"Well, I'm not sure exactly, but we should be able to get the blood from the hospital, since they have it all stored, we just need an in, but Jason might know someone," Monica began. Jason nodded and then she went on. "As for when you go into labor, it's going to hurt... a lot, but we'll all be here to take care of you and make it as painless as possible. Dean will change you as soon as the baby is out or else you will bleed to death."
Dean didn't like how blunt Monica was about the situation, as if it happened every day and it was no big deal, but he said nothing. He just stay quiet, and calm as he listened and waited for his girlfriend to speak. He focused on her heart and scent more, loving both. He knew he only got a month with them before she was immortal and her blood would no longer sing to him.

Abi looked to her boyfriend when she felt his arms go around her again. She loved his touch, and even when she was freezing, she needed it. It was a need now. Warmth would feel weird. She wanted Dean-in any form. She smiled softly when his head moved to rest on her shoulder. This was bothering him. Their talking about it so casually. She could feel his mood. It made it more real and yet numbed for them to talk about it all so casually, like it was everyday boring news. Was he trying to block it out and relax?Or was all this tearing him up more then she though. Was he scared of her dying and blaming himself?Abi tried to hold back her want to zone out and just be with Dean, but they had time for that later.
Monica went on and Abi tried to in vision everything. She would have to drink human blood? She nodded again. Sure, of course there was going to be a lot of pain.A lot was an understatement. This baby was already extremely strong and let alone for the bleeding out, Abi knew she was in risk over other issues as well. Monica hadn't told her anything she already didn't know, but she tried to think more.To think of more questions.
Abi's hand went to Dean's hair, his cheek, wanting to soothe him in what seemed to be him in pain."So.....what else should I know?''She asked, trying to keep from focusing just on Dean

Dean just sat, trying harder to block out the conversation around him and just hold his girlfriend and rest with her. He made himself more comfortable, but made sure she was comfortable too as he listened to the beat of her heart, memorizing more than he already had.
He vaguley heard Gabriella ask if there was anything else that she needed to know as she moved her hand over his hair. He snuggled into her more. "I love you," he whispered in a barely audible voice. He sighed a little and tried to relax more, something that was hard to do when you could hear a pin drop.
Monica thought for a minute. "I don't think there's anything you probably don't already know. I mean... the change will hurt too and Dean has to make it quickly to keep you, but I think that's really everything," she told her with a soft smile.

Abi tried to stay in the conversation, but it was so hard with Dean snuggling into her shoulder. She knew he didn't want to hear it anymore. She knew that this wasn't Dean. He usually had so much respect for people. They were in his house, now her house too-but they had guests and he couldn't take the conversation anymore and was trying to block it out. That was all this had to be-Dean blocking out the situation and trying to take himself out of it.
Her cold hand ran though his chilly scalp as she tried to keep from turning to him completely. It was so hard not to, but they had guests. Her eyes stayed from flashing to him from Monica and she smiled softly when she heard Dean's I Love You.Her grip on his hand tightened more at that but Monica brought her attention back to the conversation. Abi wondered what was going through the minds of her guests.
Abi exhaled at her words."I understand. Hopefully it will go well, and well.....I have faith in you all that you will help me and our baby.''Abi said with a soft smile to each of them, rubbing her stomach lightly."Um...so...when should I go on this blood diet thing....... cause I don't think I can liv-stay without keeping anything down for much longer.''She said, asking again with a slight laugh at her words.

It was time. It was finally to the moment the Evelyn Jamison has been waiting for for her entire exsistance. It was finally here. She was going to see her father. She was going to lay eyes on him for the first time since she was turned in mortal, but it wasn't just that. It was the first time seeing him since she was a toddler. She finally found him and wasn't going to let him go for anything.
Eve was there, finally there. It had been a long hard few years in her search for her father. But she knew he was out there. She knew he was exactly like they said, only a vampire-that made him that much more perfect. They would soon to be reunited.Eve approached the house that her research told her was sure to be his. She did it. She made it. She was there. Inside, she could smell th sent of another 3 vampire and something else she was sure of....it was too odd to be human. But, there was a human in there. Had her father turned vegetarian after all?A smirk spread across her face, but mixed with the aggravation that if he was indeed a carnivore, she had been feeding on nasty animals instead of the delicious blood of humans.
Her hair was loose, its it waves as the one strip of tapperd bangs fell in her eyes, Eve moved to the door. She felt excitment as the rush that her father was just beyond that door hit into her mind.Soon enough.
One quick glance at vampire speed told her her outfit was, of course, fine. Her tight straight legged dark jeans, her knee high black boots with the dangling straps, her off the shoulder, dark red , tight sweater-they all looked great-of course.
A soft rap at the door, and Eve heard the stir inside. Any minute now.
