Dean hugged her tighter as Gabriella buried her face in his chest and wrapped her arms around him in return. He tried to soothe her more and shush her words, but she just kept on with her crazy talk. He kept interjecting his own words though. "No, that's not true. I don't know what her deal is," was his first little interjection.
"You are more than good enough for me. You're so much better than I am, Gabriella. I honestly wonder why you put up with me and why you would go through a pregnancy like this for me. I mean, I'm glad that you would because I wouldn't want to lose you, but I don't understand it," he told her sincerely.
He shook his head over and over through everything that she said about his human family. "No, they aren't family anymore. They're all dead. I'm pretty sure of it. You're my family now. We will be a family. We're going to have a beautiful baby and we are going to be married someday."
He moved on the bed so that he could lay on it, Gabriella laying next to him and he lightly rested his head on her shoulder as he held her. "There is no obligation. I love you and want to have this baby with you. It's just you and me now, honey. This, us, is my life and the reason I live," he explained before kissing her cheek softly.

Abi had tried to calm herself. Everything she said spilled out and she knew it shuoldn't have even opened her mouth to explain. He probably thought she was nus now. She deffinately wasnt worthy of him. He was amazing in everything and she was a boring human. She shook as she listened to his words. He was trying, and she was freaking out. What was left for her to do. Everything thought and fear was out on the table. He would surely leave her now.\
But, his words said different. Dean moved Abi to lay on the bed and she curled into him.Married? He said married, that meant he did want to marry her, obviously, right? He wasn't just saying that to make her feel better.Abi was silent, trying to stop her crying as she thought of Dean's soothing words and let them play over and over in her mind.
Abi puled her face back and frowned, wiping her eyes."But-she's your daughter Dean. She has had a place in your heart far longer then I have. She's a part of you and everything you have loved and lost. You can-you cant just take me and expect it to cover your pain. I love you more then anything, and I don't want to lose you-but, I'm not them, and if you have a shot at getting them, you should take it.I will be here wait-wa-waiting for you.''She said swallowing and trying to get her point across. She didn't want to make him angry, but she knew she would never live up to what he lost. She couldn't be his replacement, or his cover or his mock family.
Abi's eyes locked withhis as the pain shown through, her hand went to his cheek."I dont have any idea what it's like to have gone through that you are. You had so much taken from you and you hurt so much and if you have a chance to get that back-any piece of it, you should have the right too. I love you more then anything, and I want you to be happy.......if you cant be fully happy with me, it's okay. It's understandable, Dean.''She said, her voice cracking

Dean smiled when Gabriella curled into him and he snuggled down with her, wanting to be closer. He kissed her lips lightly and relaxed with her until she spoke again. When she did, he gave an irritated sigh and look. He listened to what she said and shook his head. Would she ever get it?
He tried more than once to cut in and say something, but she wouldn't let him get even a word in. When she was finally done, he took a minute to try and calm himself before he said anything, but it didn't work. In the next minute, he practically exploded on her.
"Will you shut up and listen to me for once? I don't want them! I want you! Why can't you understand that? You're so fucking stubborn and most of the time I love that, but not when it comes to this! You're not a cover for pain! I don't feel pain anymore! I've come to terms with my past! It's over and done with! It is what it is.. the past," he began in an angered voice.
He sat up before standing up. "You're my present and I want you to be my future! Get that through your thick skull! If you can't see that I'm happy with you then you're fucking blind! I came back for you, didn't I? I wouldn't have come back if I didn't love you! Just because my daughter shows up doesn't change anything! Do you think I would have kicked her out if I thought what she said was true? If I was going to choose her over you, I would have done it already," he said, his voice raising more this time than the last.
He shook his head at her and gave her a look of disappointment. "You're never going to get it, are you," he asked before he moved to the door and walked out of it. He quickly made his way downstairs and looked at the shocked faces of his friends. "I hope you enjoyed the show," he told them before walking out the front door, slamming it so hard behind him that he broke it from it's hinges.
He didn't even check to make sure no one was looking, though no one was, before he ran off at his vampire speed towards the forest and away from his house.

Abi stared at him, trying to get a reaction or something, anything out of him, but his reaction was nothing she thought it would be.He blew up at her. Exploding and Abi had to recoil from his words. They physically hurt from the tone in his voice. Why was he so upset by it. Did he really want them and just realized it?The tone to his voice, they way he spoke hurt worse then anything Abi had ever dealt with.
She stared at Dean, tears in her eyes as she tried to interject and say something. But, what would she say? Nothing did anything justice. Nothing she wanted to say would help. Everything she thought of was crap. It wasn't worth saying and it would never change Dean's perspective. She wanted to fight back, to defend herself, but she was dumbstruck.
He was gone again
They had company down stairs, and Dean was gone. She heard the loud noise downstairs and felt herself shake. Dean had never yelled at her like that. They had never had a fight this bad before. He had never looked at her like that. Abi's heart broke, and she curled into a bawl on Dean's bed and sobbed. She wanted her boyfriend. She wanted everything to be okay.
The next few hours consisted of Abi puking and getting sicker and weaker. Monica check in on her a few times to make sure she was okay, talking to her and giving her pep talks and making sure Abi had everything. They were in the process of trying to find her blood, but Abi couldn't take any food anymore. The night passed slowly and Dean wasn't back. Abi cried the entire time, crying dry when there was nothing left in her to cry.
She finally fell asleep, curled under several blankets on Dean's bed about 6 in the morning. She was exhausted and her eyes were swollen and puffy and blood shot-blood vassals popped from her puking so much. Her eyes fluttered shut and she finally gave in.

Dean had walked around the forest for most of the night after he left. He just needed time to walk and think and be alone. He felt bad for yelling at Gabriella that way, but he meant everything he said. He loved her and wanted to be with her and no one else. She had to learn to understand that or things weren't going to work out between them. She had to get it, for both of their sakes.
He left the forest in the dead of the night to sneak into the hospital. It was a time that he knew only a few people would be working the floors and he could easily slip in and out. So, that's what he did. He slipped into the hospital and down to their blood storage room. He found a few bags of Gabriella's blood type and slipped back out.
He had been undetected, just as he knew he would be. Speed and the fact that he could be quieter than most made it easier. He wasn't ready to go back though so he got an ice chest and iced the blood to keep it fresh. He spent the rest of the night in the forest and decided to head back just as the sun began to peek over the horizon. It was around six thirty, he was pretty sure.
He got back to his house and found that Monica was sitting downstairs waiting for him. As soon as he slipped into the house, she was at his side. She hit him a few times and called him an not a very nice person for what he'd done and the way he treated her. He just nodded and she told him that Gabriella had just fallen asleep.
He thanked her, handed her the ice chest, and ascended the stairs. He made sure that he was silent as he slipped into his bedroom, where he saw Gabriella sleeping. He couldn't help but let a small smile spread over his lips at the sight of her. She took his breath away and looked like an angel. He sighed and slipped into the bed beside her, careful not to wake her.
He moved her into him and held her lightly, his motions quick and light, hoping she wouldn't feel them so she could sleep for a while. He lay there in the quiet, as the sun rose higher into the rarely blue and clear sky, and just listened to the heartbeats of his beautiful girlfriend and his unborn child. The two most important things in his life. The two beings that made his world. His family.

It was dark in Abi's apartment living room.In the middle, there was a cradle. It was silent until a small whimper broke the silence.Abi was shocked. Who would leave her baby alone like this? Why was she laying there with no one to watch he? Where was everyone? How dare they live her child alone.Silently, Abi's foot steps took her to the cradle. There was a tiny little baby in a pink dress.Abi smiled down at the beautiful little bundle. But, suddenly her breath was taken from her lungs.
The baby had red eyes.
Abi frowned a little, but moved to pick up her child."It's okay. We'll get you fixed up. It's not your fault.''Abi crooned at her daughter, the baby letting out a musical laugh that melted Abi's heart. It was a prefect moment in Gabriella's mind. But, that perfect moment was broken by a menacing laugh. That laugh chilled Abi deep through her bones and froze her blood. Slowly she turned to find the source. He was back,Dagger.
He told her she wasn't good enough. That she should have died. That her baby was a monster. Abi set down her daughter and turned to him, but turned back to find the cradle empty and herself on the floor whithering in pain. She screamed at him. What was he doing there? He was supposed to be dead. She saw him die.Why now?
He only laughed and he disappear. Was it over? But , no-Dean appeared with another women. She looked like his daughter Evelyn, but prettier. She called him name and he merely stared at her-that was when the baby appeared in his arms. One last phrase-I never wanted you-and he handed the baby to the women and they too disappeared.
Gabriella thrashed in her sleep, unable to hear her cries of mourning pain.As she thrashed, something held her from her full advantage. But, slowly she was pulled back to consciousness.Abi's wide eyes scanned the room and shocking found Dean holding her. Her heart was racing, she was trying to breath, her hand moved quickly to her belly. Her baby was still inside her-safe, and with her still.
She didn't realize there were still tears in her eyes, that she had been crying in her dream, in her sleep as well as in real life."Dean''She said hoarsely, looking at him and trying to focus.

Dean had been relaxing with Gabriella for no more than half an hour when he noticed a changed in her heart rate. It was racing faster than it had been just moments before and he watched her carefully, wondering what was going on. His eyes held worry as he watched her and soon, she was thrashing in the bed. He tightened his hold on her.
As he tried to hold her back, she only thrashed more. He could have easily pinned her to the bed and made her stop, but he didn't want to hurt her or their baby, so he had to be careful. It made it harder for him to control her, but he managed. As he fought with her, he saw tears starting to run down her cheeks.
Almost as suddenly as she started, she stopped her thrashings. Dean let out a sigh and rubbed Gabriella's back in a soothing manner. He hadn't realized she was awake until she said his name. He looked down at her and wiped tears from her cheeks. "It's okay, baby. It was just a dream," he cooed to her in his silky voice.
He rocked her gently and continued to rub her back and play with her hair. He was curious as to what was so bad that she had acted in such a way, but he would never ask. If she wanted him to know, she'd tell him. If not, it was none of his business and he would leave her be about it. As long as he knew that she was calm and okay, that was what mattered.

Abi's heart was pounding in her chest. Her baby was fine, and wait-Dean was back? He was back and he was laying in bed with her. He was holding her. It was him that was holding her back from thrashing around more. To think, she could have hurt the baby or herself. But, that dream bugged her. To see him leave-five their child to someone else. To feel the pain that Dagger inflicted on her all over again. It had been a bad dream. One that felt all to real. But, then Dean was there. She focus on him and heard his words. His cool hands rubbing her back and wiping her tears away.
Abi choked another sob and she clung to the man she loved."I'm so-so sorry Dean. I love you so much. I didn't mean to make you mad. I hate fighting with you.''She said, taking a breath and wiping her tears from her eyes.
Abi situated herself in his arms."I love you.....and I will do whatever it takes to keep us together.''She said intently. Her eyes bored into his, and slowly she pressed her lips to his. At the same moment, the baby kicked. Abi winced into his lips, closing her eyes quickly with a snap

Dean listened to Gabriella's words and shook his head. He held her closer and and buried his face into her hair, taking in a deep breath to let her scent fill his airways. "I shouldn't have blown up at you like that. I'm sorry, too. I love you, too," he told her with a small smile when he pulled back to look at her face.
His eyes locked with hers and he stared back into the liquid emerald pools that he swore he could swim and get lost in. He saw nothing else at that time except for the green irises of her eyes. It faded when she spoke to him and brought him back to reality. He saw her completely again and felt like a jerk. "I-I never said we wouldn't be together," he told her.
He had tried to say more, but her lips were on his before he had the chance. He could feel her wince against him and he frowned and pulled away from her. He gave a sad look and moved up her shirt so he could see the forming bruise. He sighed and kissed her stomach gently.
"Be nice to you're mother, she's breakable," he said, speaking to his girlfriend's stomach. He looked back up at her and gave a soft smile. "Time to start your special diet. I got some stuff last night," he explained to her.

Abi frowned when Dean shook his head to her words. Then, he held her closer and she breathed him in deep.He smelled so amazing. He he smell the same to her once she was a vampire? And again, what about her scent. She was his singer. She wold have no blood left in her.She nodded at his words."It's okay, I deserved it.''She answered softly, smiling in return to his smile.
As the pain shot through her, Abi thought about Deans words that she had cut off. She looked done at her exposed belly when Dean lifted the shirt and an instant smile came to her face ad she watched his lips tenderly kiss her gowning, bruised belly.
Abi's eyes met Dean's when he looked up from her belly."Hmm..yay-blood.''She said with a little laugh. She was still tried, but had too much on her mind to sleep. Besides, she had not eaten anything for a while, and now felt weaker then ever.It was becoming harder for her to get around without pain and dizziness.Abi nodded to him and scooted from the bed lightly, and slowly.

Dean gave a small chuckle to her sarcasm about the blood. He honestly felt the same way though. It disgusted him to think of her drinking blood. It was different for him because it was the only way for him to live, but she was a human. She shouldn't have to drink someone else's blood. He was glad that he was not human and that he couldn't throw up or he just might.
"It won't be that bad, honey. And it'll make you stronger," he assured her. He watched her move from the bed and he too got up. He walked around to where she stood and picked her up. He laid her back in the bed and gave her a serious look. "You need to stay and rest until you have some more strength. I will be right back," he promised her before leaving.
He bolted down the stairs and got Gabriella the blood that he had stolen, but not before finding something to put it in. Something where she wouldn't have to see the deep red of the liquid she was going to be consuming on a daily basis for the next three weeks. Once he got something and had the blood ready for her to drink, he bolted back up the stairs.
He handed her the cup as he sat on the side of the bed.

Abi sighed, and winced as she stood. She wondered momentarily about her eye color when she was changed, but shook that from thought and tried not to think about what she was going to do. She was going anything to feed her child. Though, it was hard for her mind to not think of cannibalism for some weird reason.Though, Abi would never got that far.She nodded. Maybe it would be like regular pregnancies cravings. She wouldn't want to throw up from the taste of it, or maybe she did.Would it bother Dean and be harder for him to be around her not that she smelled like blood?Or would it be easier because her blood would be mixed with someone else's.
Abi frowned when she was set back on the bed. Sighing, she knew he was right though. Though, if it hadn't been for the baby, she wouldn't care about herself. Now though, her body meant everything because she was the vessel for her child to get stronger-even if it meant risking her life. She was willing.
While Dean was gone, Abi situated her self more comfortably in Dean's bed. The entire thing smelled of his sweet, wonderful sent and gave her the familiar spinning head that she loved. The next think Abi knew, Dean was back. Abi sat up and then eyed the cup in his hands. Her eyes flashed to his. Sighing, to reached and took it.She wasn't even going to ask how they got it or what they did, or who it came from. She wouldn't probably like the answer."here it goes...'She said, trying not to breath as she pressed the cup to her lips, closed her eyes and took a small drink.
Pulling the cup away from her lips she frowned, looking down at it and trying to be brave. It actually didn't taste bad. It didn't smell bad either. It tasted.....good, to be honest. Abi relaxed slightly and looked at Dean, her head tilted."Weird.''She said with a frown, smelling to cup when bringing it to her nose and took a deeper drink. The liquid ran down her throat and she felt a bet better already. A bit stronger.

Dean stayed seated on the bed and watched as Gabriella took the cup from him to drink it. He didn't want to stay there and watch, but he felt like he had no other choice. He was supposed to be there for her through everything, whether he liked it or not. He couldn't just leave because he didn't like that she had to drink blood to keep strong and feed and calm the monster that would rip her apart.
The one word she gave in response after drinking the blood made him realize that she didn't have a horrible distaste for it. He knew it was because of the baby, but it still grossed him out a little bit. He kept his composure though and kept his face calm and free of his distaste for his girlfriend's new diet. It was only for a few weeks that she'd be drinking blood as a human. After that, she would be a vampire and also drink the blood of animals and not other humans, hopefully.
He moved on the bed so that he sat directly next to her, his arm wrapping around her. He didn't want to smell the blood that she was drinking. He wanted to inhale her scented blood and relax with it. She was the sweetest thing he had ever smelled and he knew he was going to miss the scent of her once she was changed into a vampire.
